Uncle Maurice has supplied me with an abundance of material from the archives. However, much of it consists of photocopies, so I will just transcribe this journal entry.

April 22 (Earth day!)

Today is Earth Day. It selabratse how we started recycling, reuseing and reduseing and replanting. That was 26 years ago. 26 years ago most of our Earth was covered with trash. Until April 22, someone somewere invented recycling. When this was sped around it became a big hit!! It all maid the world a better place to live. From now on I am going to not use the lights unless it's to dark. And I'm thinking about making a little compost section of the back yard. It can be a risk of my dog getting at it's wort it. When I die I want to be baried. Not premated. I want to be bearied because then I'l rot. I'll become some of the Earth. EARTH DAY!!
